Do you live in one of the following zip codes: 43203, 43204 43205, 43206, 43207, 43211, 43215 (west of the river), 43219 43222, 43223, 43224, 43227, 43229, 43231, and 43232? Do you want to help save babies in your community?  If so, you can AND gain valuable education and work experience!

Apply to be a CelebrateOne Connector Corps member and receive Community Health Worker training and certification to serve a Columbus neighborhood with a high infant mortality rate and health challenges.

We need EVERYBODY! Men, women, seniors and adults age 18 and over can all make a difference.

Free Training and Paid Internship

Participation in the program includes:

  • 12-14 weeks of paid training with The Ohio State University's College of Nursing Community Health Worker Certification Program.
  • Up to 1,070 hours of part-time, paid internship experience through December 21, 2018.
  • Support for long-term employment in health related fields through workforce development and continuing education.
  • Connection to a growing movement in Columbus.


This initiative is a partnership of CelebrateOne, United Health Foundation, Columbus Public Health, and The Ohio State University College of Nursing.
