COLUMBUS DISPATCH: Program seeks to curb sleep-related infant deaths in central Ohio

The first year of safe-sleep training sessions concluded on Saturday morning, part of a multiyear effort to spread the word that babies should sleep alone, on their backs and in a crib free of suffocation risks.

The sessions, designed to train “safe-sleep ambassadors,” are open to anyone in the community and are held at Columbus Public Health on Parsons Avenue.
